MEET COACH JO

As a mum of three lively kids aged 6, 4 and under 1, I know firsthand how easy it is to lose yourself in the juggle of motherhood… and slowly lose your spark.

The part where you are you — not just “Mum.”

After my first baby, I remember desperately wanting to feel like myself again, but having no idea where to start.

I felt disconnected from my body, unsure what was actually safe, and overwhelmed trying to figure it all out on my own.

That experience opened my eyes to how little support there was for mums wanting to safely return to exercise after having a baby.

I knew there had to be a better way —
one that felt supportive, personalised and realistic for motherhood.

So in 2022, Reignite Women’s Fitness was born.

A space where mums can rebuild strength, reconnect with themselves, and feel supported, confident and capable again.

A place to reignite their spark ✨

With over six years of experience in pregnancy and postnatal fitness, I’m passionate about helping mums feel strong, supported and confident through every stage of motherhood.

Whether you’re preparing for birth, returning to exercise after having a baby, or trying to rebuild consistency and confidence again, my goal is to help you move in a way that feels safe, realistic and empowering for your body.

Through small-group and 1:1 sessions, every mum is supported at her own pace — without pressure, comparison or judgment.

Because motherhood already comes with enough of that.

And because I know how hard it can be to find time for yourself, all sessions are child-friendly. Your little one is always welcome here.

Not only does this make exercise more accessible for mums, it also creates a beautiful environment where children grow up seeing movement, self-care and community as a normal part of life.

Most of all, I want mums to know they do not have to figure this out alone.

Pre & Postnatal Specialist

Pregnant and postnatal women are considered a special population in the fitness industry. Jo has gone beyond the Certificate III & IV in Fitness (Personal Training) to complete Safe Return to Exercise/Running, Pre & Postnatal Coaching, and Applied Women’s Physiology and Training. Ensuring mums receive expert, tailored support.

MumSafe Trainer – Level 2

With over five years of experience in postnatal exercise and a commitment to continuous education, Jo is a Level 2 MumSafe Trainer. As part of the MumSafe network across Australia and New Zealand, she is dedicated to providing women with safe, effective, and evidence-based training at every stage of motherhood.

Aligned with Women’s Health Physiotherapists

At Reignite Women’s Fitness, we work closely with local women’s health physiotherapists to ensure mums receive the best care throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. It’s never too late to see a physio, and we proudly partner with two highly respected physiotherapists in Inverell for client referrals - BodyThive Physio & Physio Effect
