Meet our Pre & Postnatal Specialists

Reignite Women's Fitness was opened by Jo Hilet in 2022 after her own postnatal journey opened her eyes as to how little guidance there was on how to safely return to exercise after having a baby.

Now in 2025 we have two qualified pre & postnatal trainers working together to give mums of all ages and stages more support, encouragement, and personalised guidance than ever before.
 

Whether you’re pregnant, postnatal, or years into motherhood — you’ll have expert eyes on your technique, safe exercise tailored for your stage, and a community cheering you on!
 

Through small group and 1-on-1 sessions, we provide individual support so each mum can progress at her own pace, without pressure or judgment.

Plus, all our sessions are child-friendly, because we know how challenging it can be to access child care or find time to exercise. Having your little one alongside you not only makes it easier. It also teaches them the value of movement and self-care.

MEET COACH JO

As a mum of two lively kids (4 & 6), I know firsthand how easy it is to put yourself last while juggling motherhood.

That’s why I created Reignite Women's Fitness. A place where mums can feel strong, supported, and confident in their bodies.​

 

I have my Certificate III & IV in Fitness (Personal Training) , Safe Return to Exercise and I'm a Level 2 MumSafe Trainer. Having over five years of experience in pregnancy and postnatal fitness, I’m so passionate about helping mums:

 

  • Return to exercise safely after birth

  • Build strength, fitness, and confidence

  • Maintain a workout routine without burnout

  • Prioritise both physical and mental well-being

  • Find connection and support in a welcoming community

Meet Coach Sam

I was never really fit or athletic growing up. My fitness journey only began after the birth of my first child.

I'm a mum of three (13, 10, and 3) who recently moved back to Inverell to embrace a slower, more wholesome life for our family.

It’s been full of stops and starts, group classes, and now a love for training solo.

Personally, I lacked guidance and information about my body postpartum, and I’m passionate about changing that by supporting women with knowledge and care

I want to help other women:

  • Feel empowered through lifting and movement

  • I’m a big believer in showing up for yourself, no matter your season or reason, in whatever way feels good and right for you.

  • I’ll meet you where you’re at and cheer you on each step of the way!

Qualified and Connected

Pre & Postnatal Specialist

Pregnant and postnatal women are considered a special population in the fitness industry, meaning standard fitness certifications only cover the basics of pregnancy and exercise. Jo & Sam have gone beyond this by earning advanced certifications in Safe Return to Exercise, Safe Return to Running, Pre & Postnatal Coaching, and Applied Women’s Physiology and Training, ensuring mums receive expert, tailored support.

MumSafe Trainer – Level 2

With over five years of experience in postnatal exercise and a commitment to continuous education, Jo is a Level 2 MumSafe Trainer. As part of the MumSafe network across Australia and New Zealand, she is dedicated to providing women with safe, effective, and evidence-based training at every stage of motherhood.

Aligned with Women’s Health Physiotherapists

At Reignite Women’s Fitness, we work closely with local women’s health physiotherapists to ensure mums receive the best care throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. It’s never too late to see a physio, and we proudly partner with two highly respected physiotherapists in Inverell for client referrals.

As a registered professional with AusActive, Australia’s leading fitness industry body, we stay up to date with the latest research and training methods, so you can trust you’re in safe hands. Some of our sessions may be eligible for private health insurance rebates. Check with your provider to see if you qualify.
